Returning your bottles is easy-peasy with Return-It Express!

  1. Bring your beverage containers to any Express Location near you!
  2. Print off the tags using the code 891025 at the Express Kiosk.
  3. Leave the glass bottles in the mega-bags which are on the pallets and the rest are on ones not on the pallets.
  4. Everything else will be taken care by the depot and all funds will be transferred to the rescue!
  5. Share this fundraising opportunity with others.

You can simply call in and either buy a bag a feed to be donated to the rescue or let them know what you would like to donate towards the account and they will happily help you help the horses you can also go into either store if your local and purchase that way!!

Volunteering

Volunteers urgently needed to assist with barn work!

Location: Duncan 

Days: Everyday

Time: Days 

Duties: Cleaning shelters, filling waters, checking under blankets for dampness, changing blankets when needed, fixing electric fencing. 

Requirements: 

  • Must have horse experience and be confident working amongst the herd. 
  • Must have or be willing to get Horse Council BC. 
  • Must be strong ie: able to push a heavy wheel barrow or manure, own good rubber boots and not afraid to get muddy.
  • This is a volunteer position, you will be compensated in love from the horses.
