LIL BITZ
Lil Bitz is a yearling mini colt, who was supposed to go to a different rescue but ended up at HFHF, and was adopted right away by a loving family. He’s now living a dream life as a companion to their gelding Benny. They are so thankful to have adopted him, they love him to bits and he has now been renamed Cheerio aka Rio!!
Hopper
Hopper’s Happy Update! We’re thrilled to share that Hopper is thriving in his forever home! He spends his days grazing and socializing with his herd and relaxes at night with his loyal goat companion. With 24/7 access to quality forage and a daily mash, Hopper is maintaining his weight beautifully and looks amazing.
His days are filled with light riding, trail adventures, and plenty of free play in the ring, where he loves to run, roll, and stretch. He’s a barn favorite, showered with affection and treats from his growing fan club!
Hopper is even forming a sweet bond with his Dalmatian sister, Penny, and they’re working toward hitting the trails together soon.
We couldn’t be happier to see Hopper thriving and so deeply loved. Thank you for helping make his second chance possible!
Felix

Felix is living his best life, soaking up the sun with his Fjord bestie! According to his amazing new mom, Mia, the two are completely inseparable—and they even share the same feed bowl. Talk about friendship goals!

Takoda
Takoda was adopted last Christmas as a companion horse and found his way to a wonderful forever home!
Over the past year, his life has taken a bittersweet turn as he sadly lost his equine companion. However, Takoda has embraced being the center of attention and is absolutely thriving as an only horse! Spoiled rotten and ridden daily by his amazing owner, Georgia, Takoda is living his best life.
Georgia shared a heartfelt update with us: “Takoda has contributed enormously to my good life.”
This is exactly why we rescue! Seeing Takoda happy, healthy, and so deeply loved is what it’s all about.
